For centuries, art has been a way to express oneself. Some of the most famous artists started off just drawing for pleasure and it spiraled into a money making career. One of the most prestigious artists started off his career like that, Pablo Picasso. From a young age, Picasso became a child prodigy and displayed the characteristics of an artist. He is known for his groundbreaking influential works that transformed the twentieth century, his creation of art forms and Cubism that would forever stay after his passing, and his ability to turn anything into art (Pablo Picasso Biography Painter). Growing up, he was taught how to draw by his father, who was an artist. In his early years, he attended school, and later dropped out because the teachers could not help him solve the technical problems he had. At this point in his life, Picasso had one goal: become a classical painter. When he dropped out, he was sixteen years old and his ability was nowhere near the most famous artists of his time in the late 1800s. Using his unique form, he began to draw in 1896. After being struck with scarlet fever and hospitalized for forty days, he began his work after. Using his unique form, he began to draw in 1896.
